Jazz Trio
Finally, some Jazz! This was our first jazz session in the Tonmeister course. It was in a large theater but the musicians were great and could balance well with the slightly boomy room situation. If they were to play too loud, things could get muddy quickly. In the pursuit of clarity, the main system (a Blumlein-Z) was put in the middle of the performers on the stage. The main system was combined with spot mics placed on each instrument. This is where we first started experimenting with using ambisonic microphones as spot mics.
